Entry 1 - Arrival

I am Chole A'Nosi and I am a part of the Intergalactic Collective. I was sent to Earth to gather intelligence. Should it prove useful, Earth would then be approached with the offer to join the Collective. With its rich terra and copious amounts of water, I feel it would serve us well.

Until the Intergalactic Collective makes a decision, I must fit in so not to cause a panic. I have read many historical documents that were conveniently placed on the internet and feel I know enough to get by. I also chose a disguise that seems the most pleasing to the human eye.

I immediately began to work and happened upon a rather intriguing specimen. I soon felt the need to approach her in the ritualistic greeting. With my arm extended, I moved toward her with a smile on my face. "I am Chole. Nice to meet you." The specimen, female I assumed due to her anatomy, turned with the most peculiar expression on her face. "What?" Not the response I had read about, but perhaps she was one of those that suffered hearing loss. I repeated. "I am Chole. Nice to meet you." By this time my arm was getting rather heavy, but according to the handbook, it was rude to withdraw until the gesture was returned.

Eventually, the specimen took my hand, albeit slowly, and lifted it up and then down before withdrawing her hand. "Liberty." She responded. Such a peculiar act, entertaining though. She seemed tense and very aware of her surroundings as she was constantly casting her gaze about as if expecting a zulu cat to leap out at any moment. I should put her at ease. I thought and focused my mind to empathise with her. That seemed a mistake as she soon realised something was amiss and took off.

After that faux pas, I decided to return to my area of residence and enjoy a native meal. According to the handbook, it is called Eggs and Toast. The texture reminded me of Trogglemoss and I would have believed I was eating it if not for the lack of the musty taste. The sustenance here all seemed to lack that distinctive aroma, unless it was left out that is.
