Entry 6 - Buying a flea
Humans love festivals. I say this due to the fact that I had received a sheet of paper stating there was to be a 'Flea Market'. Granted, I know what a market is, but not a flea. Whatever it was I was determined to find out. As soon as I had arrived, I began to look for anything resembling a flea.
A few minutes in and I found myself in need of sustenance. The aromas drifting from one stall had my attention. Not knowing what the different foods were, I chose one that reminded me of Chan'ga Stew.
I took in a mouthful, expecting it to taste similar... The flame that shot out from my mouth might have been a visual metaphor, but it felt as if the lava pits of Laque were pooling within every fibre of mine senses.
I was offered a white, creamy liquid to douse the rage within and thanked the kindly specimen before taking my leave to partake in, what appeared to be, a popular Earth sport. I found it odd, however, that once I joined in the game, many of the humans that were playing before left me to experience it on my own.
Though I had not encountered this flea at the market, I was able to find an intriguing item called 'Bubbles'. I do know what bubbles are, but I have never witnessed them in bottle form so had imagined it something different entirely. I read the instructions, but it took several attempts before I was able to manage a nice stream.
Such a simple little game I found to be quite entertaining. Before I realised it, the bottle was empty. I made a mental note of being sure to procure more in the future.
Having acquired a few small rockets the humans call 'fireworks', I set a few outside and set them off. A wonderous way to end the day.
